Factory Services

Raw materials and packaging required to make our client’s products are off loaded and stored at Fullers’ dedicated warehouse.

In order to maintain the integrity of products, Ways of Working (WOWs) have been designed, implemented and regularly audited to remove the risk of contamination. Product is released according to defined quality assurance standards.

Products are picked across several pull-list windows each day and delivered by Fullers ‘Just-in-Time’ to the manufacturing lines. Working in partnership with our client’s distribution service partner, Fullers provides a factory clearance service where we continuously load finished product from the production line and onto automated pallet despatch trailers.

Our vehicles are certified to Direction Vision Standard 2-star rating and where applicable applications have been made for the installation of the Progressive Safe System 3-star rating before the 5th May 2025.

Our suite of integrated software solutions includes remote tachograph analysis; vehicle tracking and analytics is ring-fenced both for company and customer access; transport management system; driver licence checking; and vehicle daily defect and damage reporting.

Our Fleet Capabilities

The Trailer Fleet

Transporting valuable and temperature-sensitive loads efficiently is what Fullers Distribution is known for. Our fleet of trailers includes a mix of FRP-certified single compartment and multi-temperature trailers which offer our customers the greatest possible flexibility. The fleet is equipped with state-of-the-art technology which tracks and controls the temperature levels/humidity of the load.

Any fluctuations in temperature will trigger an instant notification and temperature reports can be downloaded remotely and used as a proof of service and to satisfy the customer about the integrity of the load.  In extreme circumstances trailers can be safely immobilised/shut down.

Modern Fleet

The fleet is ‘Direct Vision Standard’ compliant and prepped for the Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency ‘Earned Recognition Scheme’. All vehicles are fitted with Telematics which provide detailed information such as fuel usage, idle time, throttle usage and speed and a grading system provides a clear indication of how drivers are performing. Customers are also empowered to track ‘their’ vehicles in real-time.

Accreditation, Associations and Federations

Fullers is accredited with Good Distribution Practice, the Carriage of Dangerous Goods, a Green Waste Carrier’s Licence and is a member of the UK Border Force Civil Penalty Scheme. Fullers is a member of the Road Haulage Association, the Freight Transport Association and the Cold Chain Federation.

Transport services are provided under the RHA terms and conditions unless otherwise agreed and stated in writing.
