Skandy: delivering Swedish candy straight to your door with Fullers Skandy is a company founded by two sisters-in-law on their love of a Swedish tradition lördagsgodis – Saturday sweets – and on their own passion for quality candy. The Scandinavian candy appeals not only to ex-pats hungry for traditional treats, but to a new market of discerning sweet aficionados, whether that is sweet, sour or chocolate. A sweet partnership based on quality and experience As the company launched in the UK, built on the premise of weekly candy deliveries, founders began searching for a fulfilment company to ensure the sweet treats were safely delivered into the eager hands of customers. With vast experience working with leading snack and confectionary brands such as Mars Wrigley, Fatso and Made for Drink, Fullers Fulfilment was the ideal choice to help launch the brand. A taste of Sweden delivered from Berkshire Following a tour of our warehouse facility in Slough, Berkshire, and a highly successful trial period, Skandy came on board. Our attention to detail, the expertise of warehouse staff in packaging up orders – including gift boxes and premium gift boxes – and our technology estate provided the perfect base for the brand’s launch. With orders ramping up over October and towards Christmas, our team made sure all orders were perfectly picked, packed and dispatched, to ensure timely delivery. Innovative technology to sweeten the deal Skandy’s ecommerce platform – Shopify – integrates seamlessly with our warehouse management system (WMS), making quick work of fulfilling orders. The integration also means that the Skandy team can easily monitor trends and patterns, thanks to our data analytics, which helps inform marketing promotions and wider business strategy. From our side, our WMS takes care of batch and stock control, as well as use by dates, to minimise stock losses and ensure customers receive only the freshest of sweets.
